How to Film Skateboarding (HD)
I made this for my Comm Tech class about a month ago. The project was “Teach the class something your good at in about photography »">photography or film” and people did some useless videos like “How to take a picture with a digital camera” or “How to make a movie in movie maker”. This topic was kinda a joke between me and a friend but I somehow ended up actually doing it ahah. I think its pretty useful though, especially these days where kids knowing nothing about filming are getting vx1, mk1 setups and using them like crap. Hopefully if you never filmed skateboarding or just want to improve <a href="http://mediumformatcamerasite.com/" photography>abit, this video will help you. well i think that for the price it was the best choice. i know it doesnt come with a whole bunch of cool features like slow motion mode and that sort of thing but its alright. what cameras would you suggest? i am always willing to learn.

i guess that sounds better but i would have to give discounts for longer ones cuz i would hate to pay $75 for a 10 min video.

well i realized that its not the most amazing camera ever but i really didn’t have the money for a more expensive one. any camera is better than no camera. right? also why does it suck it looks good to me.

man thats not a good idea. nobodys gonna discuss prices for them to lose money. im sorry but theres no way other way to say it thats a dumb idea.
yeah thats what i would do but i know all the people who hang out and skate down there. so if they saw me filming them they would for sure ask me what i was doing and ask me to make them a video. then i will discuss prices if they are interested.
especially if there locals at the park dont ask for money for footage

probably like $10.00 per minute. I have a Canon vVxia HF20. so it will be HD. Should i Charge more? i would be doing a lot of really good editing on it.

this is a great video. i was thinking about charging small fees to the skaters in my neighborhood who don’t have anyone to film them. then i could make a showcase for them that they could show people. Is there any market for this? you seem to know a lot.
True dat. i used sony vegas 7.0 and i love it. i put all my videos on vimeo though.
