    an attempt by a group of members of the Soviet Union’s government to take control of the country from Soviet president Mikhail Gorbachev. The coup leaders were hard-line members of the Communist Party. the coup collapsed in only three days and Gorbachev returned to government.

    In 1994 Carter did win a Pulitzer. But that was for feature photography. This video contains winners of breaking news category, as it is mentioned at the start. I suggest u do some research b4 u brand something as wrong.. :)

    Well, in case you missed, this is a collection of photos winning the breaking news category only. Those were probably winners in feature category.
